Fight the #EU & it's Orwellian Law✊
People will install Custom #Android ROM's on their #SmartPhone's (Stops EU Scanning App) & people will use App's like:
#SessionMessenger
#SimpleXChat
Maybe even #MatrixChat over #Tor or #I2P
Also EU people will turn to VPNs outside of the all seeing eye👁️ of the EU🇪🇺
The baddies will surely be doing all of that, so this law will stop nothing

Looks like the #EU🇪🇺 is ahead of me🙁
https://blazetrends.com/eu-mandates-android-bootloader-lock-ending-custom-roms-from-august-2025/

So all new phones sold in the EU will have a locked bootloader & EU scanning App pre-installed.
EU will block overseas phones from being sold/shipped to EU
With #Google restricting on #SideLoading of App's on #Android. Where all sideloading Dev's, must register with google & have their App be signed or google won’t let it install
This gives google control over sideloading of App's that google, other companies or even the EU don't like

EU Radio Equipment Directive Misunderstood: No Bootloader Lock Mandate Found

Recent claims that new European Union regulations force Android device makers to lock bootloaders have sparked widespread confusion in the tech community. However, a closer examination of the actual legal text reveals these claims are largely unfound

@Hazard
I don't agree with that.😒
The delegated regulation(EU 2022/30) does require “software compliance verification.” That sounds like Secure Boot to me.

Under the RED=Radio Equipment Directive rules, The #EU could argue to manufacturers that allowing bootloader to be unlocked violates the requirement for “firmware authenticity”
Some OEMs (Samsung, Xiaomi, etc.) have already disabled bootloader unlock options in EU models to stay compliant.
Sounds like the EU is trying to pull a fast one.

@ETARD_The_LifeCaster August was 2 months ago and i bought a phone with boot unlocking option available. Did you read the article i linked?

"The phone makers who end up disabling the unlocking of bootloaders are all doing so on their own accord, not because some regulation is forcing them to."

Again I don't agree with you
So what if you bought a phone 2 months ago, things take time and not all phone makers are doing it just yet did you read anything I typed?
