I feel so sad every day that this is allowed to happen. It’s so inhumane. In a modern world where progressive thoughts should be celebrated, these goons who allowed themselves to be employed by their overlords, are planning these raids with what seems like glee. It’s disgusting. I’m watching this from Ireland and I find it absolutely devastating. 😞

@TomSullivan when exactly this happened after 1933 in Germany, the world watched and was shocked. They didn't do anything. They couldn't do anything - until WW2 was started, they then defeated Hitler, destroyed the country and consequently could change and help end fascim. I am afraid history is repeating.

@TomSullivan This does for a fact reflect the times before and during the second world war where the authorities raided towns and homes to abduct people for whatever reasons, ranging from religion, race, and yes, for being foreign.

It's terrifying that there are people out there who cannot connect those dots, or simply refuse to.

During a military-style raid on a building in Chicago's South Shore, one resident heard a knock on his door. It wasn't the feds - it was a mom and her 7-year-old daughter, pleading for help.
He let them hide in his unit for the next 3 days.

One major part of the Nazis success was to make it economically interesting to at least not oppose them, by giving people jobs, homes, furniture, etc. #Trump isn't even doing that. Why is this government still in power? There should be so much resistance in the country by now that you can stop this whole drama by just hanging around in large groups. It's very disruptive to this kind of work than people just hanging around in great numbers getting in the way.
