contrasocialThis is what irks me about people celebrating China as some great environmental hero simply because they see the economic opportunity in solar/wind.
Their annual emissions are still a verticle line outpacing even the US, and the reason companies go to China is because of the lax environmental regulations compared to their own countries.
So instead of doing the responsible thing and prioritizing cleaner manufacturing, they choose their geopolitical ambitions.
