How to scroll the timeline of another Mastodon server

We are not all on the same server so our default timelines are different. I think most of us are split between beige.party and jorts.horse. The steps are from the app Moshidon but I bet your app is very similar if not the same.

#bskynewbies

Click the vertical ellipsis in the right hand corner and select the menu item Edit timelines

Click the Plus in the upper right hand corner and then select the menu item Local
Enter the name of the server that you want to follow their timeline. Like beige.party or jorts.horse.
@jfloozie Thanks, I'll have to try this later
Now when you click on the down Home down arrow you will see the other servers timeline
@jfloozie i don't know how
@blerrycat1 we can do a screen share this evening if you want
@jfloozie everyone always know what they're doing except me 😽

@jfloozie FYI: this is gonna be a downer comment, but bsky ppl coming over probably (or at least is true for me) don’t want to be called “refugees” bc:

A) the most annoying twitter ppl that came over to bsky Nov 6 2024 called themselves that

B) it’s not that serious, and we are very hyperaware of actual refugees and people who can’t escape genocide right now

But, that aside: thank you for welcoming us in and helping us navigate the space!! 💕

@epinymph that's helpful, thank you 🧡
@jfloozie thank you! And I know I’m not following the rules but I will not tease you mercilessly for editing. So sorry.
@epinymph I'm glad you shared that but of wisdom and that I could edit the hashtag to keep the focus on being helpful. Also never let anything get in the way of giving me a hard time 😆

@jfloozie mf said “but of wisdom” 😂😂

Check out my butt of wisdom EYYYYY

@epinymph 😂😂😂 yay
@jfloozie you really set me up so good there 😂

@jfloozie
<instance_name>/public/local also works on browser

So for the instance I'm on it'd be kinkycats.org/public/local

For jorts horse it'd be jorts.horse/public/local

..and so on
