They're just ordinary Americans, which is the scariest thing I can think of.

“There are hardly any excesses of the most crazed psychopath that cannot easily be duplicated by a normal kindly family man who just comes in to work every day and has a job to do.”

SS had plenty of loving family but massacred millions.
It won't be any different.
@pzmyers Work with remote sensing and data science people. Somewhere outside US jurisdiction, using non-US infrastructure, record IR and thermal videos of many volunteers' faces—with a range of skin colours, but especially those matching #Gestapo demographics—from matching angles, uncovered and covered with various fabrics, and with various ambient and body temperatures. Train ML models to recolour the masked portion of thermal images to chromatically match the visible portion of visible images. Then share those models with thermal+vis camera equipped citizen videographers of Gestapo in the US.
Then use face recognition to identify and profile the Gestapo. Then project videos of the Gestapo's worse offences, using drone-mounted mobile projectors parked on roofs, onto the walls of Gestapo homes and Gestapo families' schools, from angles out of range of ground-based projectiles. Reserve enough battery to fly off to a collection point before battery gets too low, or before someone attempts to retrieve or destroy the drone and/or projector. Use low-vis collection points, and hand off collected units at other low-vis points, multiple times, before mobile surveillance can locate the collection point.
Show their family and community what disturbing and frightening evil they are committing. If Gestapo spouses aren't ashamed of them, and Gestapo children aren't afraid of them, fix that.
