This book was okay. It has promise in terms of magic, secret orders, and boarding school. I think maybe there was just too much going on with the plot/pacing issues. Maybe the author intends to flesh it all out later since this is a series. However, I won’t be continuing. Glad it’s off my tbr though! 🙌
