I thank the staff who rebuild our town sidewalks. They do a much better job than has been done in the past. While a lot of work is ahead, they're gaining.

Is it possible that a new design of curb cuts could be arrived at such that the slope comes before the sidewalk? That way, the sidewalk would be level, side to side; and people without a limp won't develop one while walking across the curb cut. I go by spots where it looks possible; but people who do this work would know better than I do.
