I thank the staff who rebuild our town sidewalks. They do a much better job than has been done in the past. While a lot of work is ahead, they're gaining.
Is it possible that a new design of curb cuts could be arrived at such that the slope comes before the sidewalk? That way, the sidewalk would be level, side to side; and people without a limp won't develop one while walking across the curb cut. I go by spots where it looks possible; but people who do this work would know better than I do.

This doesn't seem entirely self-explanatory to me but it is the Town of Brattleboro's post. Make the most of it.
One of the grinding crew members said a couple things that were semi-audible. He spoke of screwing around, which he seemed not to favor; and it must be said that he used a synonym. The same guy said something about being here another five weeks. It has appeared to me that progress is less than originally projected and those two partial remarks could be taken to support that theory, though possibly they could be interpreted other ways as well.
