@QasimRashid I think you are going to see new coalitions for new kinds of networks. Not saying any of these are perfect, but we have new media like Meidas Touch network and older media, very independent like The Center for investigative Journalism and ProPublica. I directly support shows like Reveal.

What if the legacy late night hosts bring their declining audiences along for a new kind of ride in newer media orgs? Could go from played out to heros.

We can not just threaten, but directly impact their profits almost immediately.

We'll see how many Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+ subscribers cancel and how many Disney trips are canceled/not booked.

Undoubtedly, but his ability to do what he wants is predicated on being able to get the elements of society to bend to his will.
For corporations, universities, etc. their calculations are based on the threats he can manifest being worse than the threats we can manifest.
We get a say in where that line gets drawn.

Oh, satire is very threatening.
It is a powerful weapon, no wonder they are afraid of it. It sinks into the popular mindset very easily, but gives imperceptible nudge and cause to think. Remember old adage ' The pen is mightier than the sword' ?
Hope all your brave #US show hosts and South Park survive somehow, but the media world is poisoned, possibly beyond repair.
