5 things, one day! Large number actually. These things reminded me that the #USA is a dying nation. Some of these are political, but three of these are so minor. Simple little things that do not work here any longer...

We have an unemployment crisis, yes. But also many of the people who *are* employed are not only not empowered to solve simple things, they perhaps not able to see their own exploitation. I was kind to them.

Rub some #beeftallow on the wounds. It is leadership today = incapable.

Some #mastodon instances are allowing absurdly long character limits... Possibly unlimited. I'm not complaining, could mute or such. But maybe it is time for apps to fold up text longer than 256 words under an ellipsis? #UX designers and #fediverse leaders, thoughts?

A thing I am noticing at our humble State University in this time of #USA decline: The wireless, once fast, often shuts down requiring me to switch to my paid #CricketWireless for work. Cricket btw is a low cost carrier where customers get shuffled onto lower tier QOS packets on the regular! And it still often beats #UCSD wireless. #enshitification is a constant now.

This is kind of strange bc there are so many #ubuntu. I use the standard desktop on my desktop replacement class laptop, but #lubuntu or Ubuntu Server on my fleet of mini PCs. And other #linux on #arm. It is not that the distribution question isn't relevant, it is just that even within the Ubuntu universe there are so many distros.
