mogwai@joel Seems like, for some reason, I've been reading mostly the same books as you lately. :-). I.e. the Expanse series, and now Murderbot.
(Well, probably the latter is due to the Humble Bundle sale, right? :) )
I'm really liking Murderbot right now. It's been nice to be able to switch to some shorter stories with more straightforward plots. It's a nice change of pace.
@mogwai yep! It was the Humble Bundle heh, I'm about to start the sixth Expanse book today or tomorrow!
@joel I just finished the sixth one a few weeks ago.
The series is really nice, but they're quite long. Which, on one hand, is great to really get immersed in a story. But sometimes you don't really have enough time for long books and then you tend to forget the details of the plot when you pick the book back up after a while (which is what happened to me with the 6th Expanse book).
That's why Murderbot seems to be hitting the sweet spot for right now. I just finished the third one yesterday in two days.
