@FrankB1274 The minimum requirement is set to iOS 26.0, so it should work. Maybe it’s a glitch in the Shortcuts app. Please try restarting your iPhone.

@MonaApp Hi! I wanted to talk about notifications. Whenever someone follows me the sound pings to notify me of it, but when I go to look at my actual notifications I don't see it there. Also, whenever I try to refresh my home timeline, Voiceover stops me at the 3rd or 4th post instead of going all the way to the top. When I swipe to go to the top, it tries to read it, but voiceover keeps interupting itself and leaves me at post 3 or 4.

@MonaApp I've updated the beta app today and noticed that I don't have the "Tab Bar" at the bottom. It's just gone. A bug or am I missing some kind of toggle or setting?
@niloque Is this report related to the Mac app? This will be fixed in a later update. You can access tab items from the View menu of the menu bar. You can also get the tab bar displayed by closing all divide views (Menu Bar > Window > Close Divide View).
@MonaApp Yeah, it's the Mac app and I've managed to figure out that the issue is only in the divide view. Switched to two separate windows for now and waiting for a fix. 🙏🏻
Paul Stockton@MonaApp Looking good! The 2nd floating toolbar from pressing the lower right button, I feel that should disappear if you tap on any of the lower buttons, so if I decide I want to view my timeline I shouldn't have to tap the lower right button again to hide it

@MonaApp I really dislike relegating the new post button to the upper right. iPadOS, not testing iOS yet. I would much prefer having the option of that being one of the tab bar options.
@MonaApp I should clarify. I typically run Mona in a small window side by side with a news app. In full screen, Mona is fine. In a small screen, the post button position is a problem for me.

Joe Russell@MonaApp I guess it wouldn’t be possible, but could we have the option to switch back to non-liquid glass? This is a really smart interpretation of the new design but it still feels like a big usability step back (as the whole OS does)

is there any way I can turn that off? don’t really need a sound with that big confirmation bar :p
@demize Unfortunately, it's not possible to turn it off. It's played by the system as a requirement to use the iOS 26 background processing feature, which allows the app to take extra time to upload posts with pictures and videos while running in the background.
