‼️ #Starlink_for_Ukraine will not be disconnected: the office of President #Nawrocki denied the statements of the #Polish Minister of Digitalization
Minister #Krzysztof_Hawkowski claimed that #Poland would not be able to pay for #Starlink_for_Ukraine due to President #Karol_Nawrocki's veto on the law extending aid for #Ukrainian refugees.
“The veto does not disconnect #Ukraine_from_Starlink internet, as the expenses for this connection are financed
based on the provisions of the current legislation, and the project submitted to the #Sejm by the President of the Republic of #Poland supports this state of affairs,” wrote the head of the office of the President of #Poland, #Zbigniew_Bogucki.
#Bogucki also sharply criticized #Hawkowski's statements, accusing him of spreading disinformation and playing into #Russian propaganda.
“Paraphrasing your message, one could say: I can not imagine a better gift for #Putin than a subscription to #Russian disinformation aimed at sowing discord between #Poles and #Ukrainians... If it were not for your message, the machine of #Russian lying propaganda and disinformation on this issue would not have started,” added #Bogucki.
