The only reason it's not talked about as such, the only reason Democrats make mouth noises about "crime" and "policing," is because they know the primary targets of Trump's invasion are Black and brown people.

Certainly you're not wrong, but as a minor caveat, a plurality of tactics is better than any single tactic.
Middle-aged, cis-hetero-passing, middle~upper-class white folks should definitely talk to the troops, especially cis white women who code feminine.
Everybody else should remember Kent State.
