A superhero movie that made me feel joy? Yeah, I freaking loved it.
Steven Op de beeck@matt_birchler I don’t know what went wrong during my viewing, but I wanted to get out of the theatre. I hated every second of that movie. Everything felt fake, from the CG to the acting to the characters’ intentions.
And the whole evil IT setup that Luthor had was ridiculous—probably intentional— it didn’t raise the quality for me.

@matt_birchler and that whole other universe jail scene, oh my god just the worst. The shapeshifter just sits there, hurting Superman, but one unmemorable character gets shot and that changes everything to the point he’s willing to give up his son. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
