Public condemnation declarations are basically just PR blowing bollocks when they're declared/repeated without aligning punitive actions.

Pretty sure that I'm not alone in being sick n tired of hearing our governments (all around the world) verbally condemning Israel & USA actions but are doing almost shit-all with any serious punitive actions. I can't listen to their colonial, bigoted BS, PR anymore.

@PhoenixSerenity UK perspective: The UK/US "special relationship" has been strained for a long time, well before Trump. Regarding Israel, they are considered a "strategic partner", most likely one of the few "friends" in the region. As I've experienced, what happens now might not surface for another 30 years (official secrets act limitations) but I do look for "keywords" that might give us clues that all is not well despite the soft language the public might here via the media.
@stevendrowe All hasn't been well for awhile now, as anyone really paying attention knows far too well. I'm 50 years old & saw neoliberalism & fascism creeping back decades ago. It's mostly political moderates or those apathetic to politics who ignored earlier signs of shit we are all witnessing now, who seem surprised.
I'm not surprised but am angry & saddened by present state of the world at large. I had hoped that humanity would have learned to do better by now. Disappointed but still hopeful to see & keep contributing to some sort of progressive changes before my time on Earth is up.

@PhoenixSerenity I was watching some archive footage about climate change from the 1930s. Fast forward to 2025 and I feel ashamed that its my generation who failed the world. While humanity should be addressing that all the $£ goes into blowing people up. Many people are born and are murdered in the same week.

All the stories our grandparents told us about the world wars and fascism during the first part of the last century have fallen on deaf ears. We are in, what I call, a tabloid generation.
