Sorry for misinformation. They do NOT chew concrete, but they will destroy slab foundations and patios but burrowing under them.
And enter attics, barns, campers etc. and chew stuff up.
Accipiter@briankrebs I had chipmunks cleaning out my bird feeder. The chipmunk even dug a burrow in the garden to be close. I ran the hose in there for awhile every morning. (Their burrows are built in a J, so they got wet as they came and went, but didn't drown) After two days, they gave up and moved.

Siff@briankrebs Squirrels do the same thing. I learned that they don’t eat them as much as drink the juices, especially on hot days. Knowing this somehow makes it look less wasteful.
