The Welsh Government are doing a consultation on its pro-trans schools policy. UK Gender Critical activists are upset and are trying to brigade it to push it in an anti-trans direction. Please fill out the consultation to try to reinforce the pro-trans stance.

I have several acquaintances in Wales who may be interested in this; thank you for posting.

My understanding is that older versions of this statutory guidance covered transphobic bullying, so may I ask what's changed in this draft? Is there anything prompting the resistance to this guidance other than opportunism?

Please could you share or link to some commentary explaining how filling out the consultation might help trans people? The aforementioned acquaintances aren't educational professionals but are likely to one day have children in Welsh schools.
