I love this so much. I'm sure there's nuance to it I don't fully understand, but please don't tell me, it's way funnier to imagine that they only just now added the ability to add pages to Pages
@cabel Previously could only be done on a Tuesday.
@cabel People genuinely suck at using page breaks, so this might actually be a decent feature. So many don't know about Ctrl+Enter, so just press
Enter
Enter
Enter
Enter
Enter
Enter
Enter
until they reach the start of a new page (which turns out to be the bottom of the previous page on someone else's device).
@cabel new pages don’t grow on trees
@cdevroe well no, you’d assume they’re a linked list. (Apologies to @cabel)
@cabel you used to only be able to add pages slowly. You had to fill out a form, in writing, fax it into the offices and wait 3-12 working days for them to create a new page for you.
@cabel Pages: now with more pages!
@cabel I like to think that the Apple Intelligence asterisk somehow also relates to this feature
@cabel yo dawg i heard you like pages
@cabel turns out the app was called Page until now and nobody noticed
@cabel I’m guessing perhaps until now you had to add pages by increasing the content length vs. a command to add a page at an arbitrary place in the document?
@cabel My new page is stuck in Apple’s page review because I wrote about external Pages systems

@cabel More pages in Pages?

In this economy?
Do you think they grow on trees?

@cabel We’re taking the app to the next level with the option of creating a new file.
