@_thegeoff @evanfreeze I don't think it's too big a deal. They only spoiled that he exists but that helps tell you what kind of movie it is. I mean, I agree it was a big surprise in the book, but only if someone hadn't already told you about it while recommending the book in the first place. Aside from at the end, the trailer is all the backstory flashback parts - none of which I'd consider to be the meat of the plot, really.
@bigzaphod @evanfreeze Yeah, it takes a brave studio to avoid spoilering >50% of a film. One of the few trailers I can think of that did that was The Matrix.

Caleb@bigzaphod Loved the book. Watching the trailer reminded me how much story there was. Seems like a lot to squeeze into a movie but looking forward to seeing it anyway ๐
