I’ve been on a bit of a journey into mobility aids this past 6 months or so after a small personal windfall and being granted PIP.
I bought Rhonda the rollator a couple of months ago and she’s helped a lot but I’d also been looking for a chair.

It’s not the easiest thing to find a mobility aid even if you don’t have varying needs and are also A Fat.

I wasn’t even sure what I was looking for.

Something that would fit me and also fit into our car seemed impossible or at least horrifically expensive.

But I think I’ve found a power chair that ticks all the boxes. It supports my weight, has multiple battery options and folds down. It’s not cheap (£1k) but it’s just about within my budget if I do it sensibly.

Now all I need to do is convince my brain I’m not being monumentally dramatic and lazy.
