I like an event where you get a good mix of makes and models
This Buckler was an interesting sight
The Karmann Ghia was a US car, recently imported.
I love to see an eighties Datto turning up, someone loves their Stanza.
This rare as unicorn shit 4 Cylinder Holden Commodore arrived. We saw this at a petrol station last year or so, my eyes popped out of my head. Completely original, when Holden tried to sell a more efficient model. Didn't sell well.
This hot rodded Morris van was so cute
This gorgeous 61(?) Chrysler was stunning inside and out. Would have been a car for someone rich, with all the mod cons at the time. And those fins are spectacular.
For a crisp Spring morning, it was a big turnout! Cars just kept on rolling in.
Hey I thought Austins were meant be teeny and cute?
This gorgeous Bristol arrived, a rarity here.
Onto the mature motors that arrived. This Chev
Rovers come in many shapes and sizes
I think that Holden was a rebadged Isuzu?
Nice to see some Daihatsus, there's a brand rarely seen at shows.
We saw that pink Caddy at the Good Friday cars & coffee across town.
That blue on the Falcon was utterly glorious in the sunshine.
Fins are completely ridiculous, but so cool! 😎 I love 'em!
@vwdasher love that looooooong fan shroud.
And the whole concept of someone lovingly maintaining this car because it's rare, because no-one wanted it, because it was crap.
@vwdasher oh, now i have unsolved mystery 🤔

We rented a green 4 cylinder Commodore for a few days in Adelaide, when my moto was getting repaired on the way back from Perth. I remember a bright green, but it was a loooong time ago.
I also remember it being particularly *underwhelming* to drive. It handled ok, but had no get up and go. My wife's Gemini was more fun. 🤷♂️ Later, while they were away, our neighbours lent us their similar vintage six in that exact brown - it was much better.
Rally legend, right there.
Some very tidy and delightful beasts in there.
So, better than new? 😉
I liked the looks of the Leyland Marina, but they certainly developed *a reputation*. 😳
