I am officially a #hamonabike !

I went to the nearest #pota park for my first activation. My cw is still not quite there and I didn’t really want to make a ton of noise in this particular park, so I did #ft8 for this one.

Thanks to some tips from other biking hams, I knew I could bind a fishing rod to my top tube and also use my bike to lift it. I loved being able to adjust its position easily and was far less limited than trying to find some type of conveniently located post.

This was at the Coldwater Spring historic site and I operated my Xiegu G90.

The Harris radio bag came with the radio (along with some other great accesories) from the previous owner who is leaving the hobby. I thought it would be awkward to ride with, but (despite it's size) the bag is not very heavy and I was able to offload some gear into my pannier.
