I'm no fan of AI, but Disney is not the friend of anyone creating copyrightable works.

QuincyOtter@nixCraft It is somewhat strategic. Go after the weaker defendant to get precedent. Then probably go after the deep pockets, like Microsoft.
It's the flip side for individual artists - not enough money to make a suit viable against a better paid legal team.
The scales of justice have always been tipped by wealth.
