Also, it seems that I cannot launch the app without signing in. Am I doing wrong?

My collection is hosted on my personal nextcloud server, I don't need to use your kindly-made-available resources.

@neuralreckoning Nope. You can just leave the beta program from the app listing in the Play Store app. You’ll then receive the next production version when it comes out.
