does anybody know if the #Vivaldi browser is accessible for screen reader users? @Vivaldi

@menelion @Vivaldi good question - #boosted it.

I'd assume all #Chromium forks are equal in that matter...

@kkarhan @Vivaldi Yes, usually yes. But I keep reading that Vivaldi is either something else or is going away from mainstream Chromium (I might be wrong or talking BS now, sorry), hence the question. Recently I've read about some new keyboard shortcuts in the latest version, so I wonder what's going on with #Accessibility there.
@menelion I mean, I hope @Vivaldi does something to "justify it's existance" (to be mean!) as a #Browser, and #Accessibility is certainly something that the #Web needs to improve more in!
@menelion @Vivaldi It definitely is with iOS, at least for browsing and blogging and Mastodon as an instance. I can't speak for email.
@lynnskyi @Vivaldi Wait, there's no Windows version?
@menelion @Vivaldi I can speak for accessibility in terms of Windows, but I use the Vivaldi iOS app and use social.vivaldi.net for Mastodon.
@menelion @Vivaldi Android yes, I have heard Windows is iffy but that could have changed.
@menelion @Vivaldi Under Windows yes, I don't know for other OS
@SuchMichel @Vivaldi Merci, Windows is my main platform, so it's mostly the thing I care of.
@menelion @Vivaldi I haven't looked at this browser in about nine months but when I last looked it was pretty accessible as long as you're aware that all of the tool bars and address bars etc sit within the virtual window which is a bit annoying as you have to go past this to get to the actual page content. So is it accessible pretty much, but is it easy to use probably not quite so much :-)
@mishu70 @Vivaldi Oooh, yes, that's really annoying!
@menelion @Vivaldi Sorry, should've mentioned I only looked on windows with Jaws and NVDA :-)
@mishu70 @Vivaldi that's more than enough for me, I use JAWS 99% of my time.
