Since CISA killed it's RSS feed[1], If anyone is interested, I created an account here that will allow anyone to subscribe both via the fediverse and via RSS using the mastodon RSS feed for that account. The account is @cisareflector

@cisareflector I am super excited to see how much my taxes go down next year as a result of the massive savings from turning off the CISA RSS feed.
@jerry @cisareflector the more you buy the more you save
@jerry @cisareflector Yeah!! We could all pool the savings and buy a coffee (though it's hard to think how we'll all share a single cup... but heck, thinking ahead is out of vogue anyway).

@jerry @cisareflector here’s a nickel, kid. Get yerseff a cup of tap water.

My math: $1B for CISA cut, so ~$3 per citizen for the whole thing. Cuts to cve/nod or whatever it categorizes under are a scant fraction of cisa’s scope.

@jerry @cisareflector Gotta help out those billionaires with their taxes
@jerry What's the name of the account you've created so I can follow it?
@jerry too bad they were not more proactive and restive #the natives
@gary_alderson I think it's one of those situations where "you or your replacement will do this..." and there probably were quite a few people who opted to have their replacement do it
@jerry this mansplaination makes sense - to what extent will cisa be gutted may be the real question, i always found them to be a good resource and in a lot of cases clients can identify with govt sources since they have no real modus operandi for rev gen
@jerry
They are doing a bang up job of this transparency they were talking about.
@cisareflector
@jerry @cisareflector - This is a public service. I appreciate you.
@jerry @cisareflector their "please share your thoughts" product survey link conveniently contains no survey to fill out.

@jerry @cisareflector Wait, hasn't CISA just removed the KEV from the RSS? The Alerts&Advisories feed is still there and seems to be up to date (May 8th).

Or are they discontinuing the RSS altogether?

@christopherkunz @cisareflector It is indeed just the KEV
@jerry @cisareflector Anyway, mentioned the bot here: https://heise.de/-10381856
CISA realignment: warnings about known exploits now harder to find

CISA is streamlining its overview pages to provide more limelight for major cyber security events. Users will have to find another way.
