@justdaveisfine Not true at all! I have fun making games and playing them, too. Are there really people who don't enjoy games any more once they start making their own?
@EntangledPear @justdaveisfine no, because every time i play a game now, the only thing i can think of is "i wonder if i can recreate that" or "i wonder how they coded that part"
@zen1th @justdaveisfine Huh, I still think you can have fun even when you analyze a game like this 🤔 But maybe I'm just able to compartmentalize easily.
@EntangledPear @justdaveisfine many people's experience is for large gaming companies where they are overworked and underpaid and they can't complain because they should consider it such a privilege to be building something fun

Image descriptions for text-only images are the easiest ones to make. The Mastodon web interface has a button to extract the text and fill it into the alt text and many clients have, too. Do not exclude blind people.

@justdaveisfine and this is why I never got into developing games, or being a chef.

I love games and cooking too much

@justdaveisfine why do you think there're so many Transfems in game dev?
@justdaveisfine
Somehow I never made a game but I have no trouble believing it.
