Dad strike in the UK, organized by The Dad Shift.
They say:
“The UK’s statutory paternity leave is bad. Really bad. In fact, it’s the worst in Europe. We are calling for paternity leave that is: substantial, affordable, and equal.”
If we want to encourage equity in parenting, we must make accommodations for both parents. My career path afforded me the time to be a dad, and our family is better for it.
