@Alice Your handwriting looks like you were once graded on Penmanship in school. I detect a baseline of Palmer Method Cursive, though you have made it your own, particularly in the unadorned capital T.

I definitely rebelled against some capital letters for being unnecessarily complicated. I’m looking at you, weird capital letter Q.

@McCrankyface Yeah, I think it's a combination of things:

1. I’m not used to writing in cursive so I'd catch myself writing "normally" and then proceed with cursive.

2. I don’t like certain cursive letters and/or the way they flow into other letters so I think I avoid connecting them in some cases.

3. I’m a psychopath.

The problem with this is that you are encouraging fucking with vision impaired people just to ineffectively attack AI (ineffective because they already have a ton of training data). I had a similar cringe when the fediverse was celebrating the hack of voice crosswalk notifications to attack Musk and Zuck. Blind people need to cross the street. So let's not treat them as collateral damage.

@Alice Screen readers use alt text if it is present, in preference to OCR. So fake alt text hurts those users. It does not hurt the AI bros (unless there is so much fake data that it breaks alt text for everyone). I love your jokes, Alice. Thanks for being you. I never got good grades in handwriting -- As in everything else, Ds in handwriting. Block characters were appreciated in drafting classes. To this day I still write nearly everything in all caps.

I am so glad you posted the text of the handwriting. I have a form of Dyslexia that was caught when my cohort was learning to read and write in cursive... So while they were learning to read and write cursive I was in experimental therapy learning to just read print.
