Super high on my priority list is pushing for any reform measure that will allow us to avoid today’s trap: that with first-past-the-post voting, the only way for the majority of progressive voters to avoid a conservative shit-show is to crater one of the our progressive parties. I and my neighbours should be able to vote in a way that honestly represents my full and complex views without running the risk of perverse outcomes.

@bhawthorne we dont have one, but, yes we lost both the House of Representatives and the US (federal) Senate. GOP has complete control of the federal government

And also "progressive" votes were divided by aggressive Green campaigns.
Instead of working with NDP to be strategic and keep seats away from Cons.
The voting system FPTP itself is a big part of the problem. Party agenda and ego over public interests. That's why we lost our long time NDP riding.
