After working all morning to get the blog post done, I needed a break. My favorite 3 year old challenged me to a game of hide and seek.

Where CAN he be?

(I'm sure his eyes are closed, which naturally makes it harder for me to see him.)

@Teri_Kanefield What a cutie! Be careful where you sit 🤭
@Teri_Kanefield That could be anyone's hand
@jef @Teri_Kanefield It looks like Thing from The Addams family to me.
@Teri_Kanefield We have a photo of my now 9-y.o. granddaughter at about 2-1/2, with her same-age cousin. They’re at their other grandmother’s, hiding from her in front of a window. Their heads and torsos are behind the slatted window shade; their cute little bellies, hands, legs, and feet are completely exposed. You can tell from their body language that they think they’re the cleverest kids in the world.

Hide and seek is so much fun.
@Teri_Kanefield That’s so sweet!

@Teri_Kanefield Plot twist, he planned all of it.
@Teri_Kanefield @gdinwiddie Teri, that's a really gorgeous photo! I'd just been watching a video about Vermeer's paintings, so that's what my brain saw when my eye fell on this. 😂
Nice!
@Teri_Kanefield One of my earliest memories is hiding under my blankets in my bed while my parents searched for me - "he's not in the closet, he's not under the bed, where can he be" - seemingly unaware of how the giggling coming from under the blankets.
