One of these "pet advice" TV shows where people get shown how to manage their dogs, right, but with dragons & their kobolds
Specifically, kobolds who were adventurers 3 days ago
"Some will tell you that ex-paladins always have behavioral issues, but that's not true at all. They need strict discipline at first, sure, but with the right training and enrichment they can be very well-behaved. Today we'll show you how you can direct their 'worship drive' towards yourself, which will help them become as obedient and loyal as any other kobold."

Laying behind the paladin's religious setup as they pray, gradually removing their idols until their prayer is directed only to you.
Also helps that the prayers to you tend to get answered more often.
Hell, if you keep them weapons-trained, you can even send them out after proper conditioning so they can bring back more future kobolds!

In context, I get that this is about tf, but my dragon Azurel has a couple of kobolds he's trained into adventurers and directed them at a nearby city's adventurer's guild with instructions to learn and regularly report back, so I initially read this as "so your kobolds need help readjusting to lair life"
