The Gulf of Mexico is not a US body of water and, at best, Trump could - by bypassing all US internal standards - rename some of the continental shelf.
Trump trying to rename international waters is another careless power grab by a stupid dictator, & we should never forget that stupid dictators are dangerous; to us individually and to international & economic stability.
