@davidsabine @jmcrookston first comes the question whether legal means fair, and it doesn't, when you consider legal loopholes and legal subsidies only available to the very few for who these laws are created. Second, whether a society is fair when few have all the say, which it is not when an individual can extract exceptional wealth with which they can buy exceptional powers over others in that society. So this is not about dizzying numbers, but about perverted $ rules and perverted $ power.
