Franz Von Stuck's painting Medusa (1892) enjoys a certain infamy because, when faced with it, Adolf Hitler exclaimed "Those are my mother's eyes!" The symbolist painter's fondness for norse mythology, as is the case with Die wilde Jagd (1889), painted the same year Hitler was born and which is said to have inspired his moustache, haircut and gestures , would eventually make Von Stuck an exemplary artist for the Third Reich.

Seen up close, my art photo art mural Stone me (2020) breaks up into thousands of screenshots, posts and memes. Its apparent chaos calls into question the self-education and personal struggle to heal my self with cannabinoids, instead of subjecting my body to the big pharmaceutical industry.

However, from afar, the images merge to reveal the enigmatic face of a mythological monster. She who was the most beautiful of the gorgons now bears the curse of a goddess: whoever sees your Medusa-like face will turn to stone.
