I want to see Bluesky blossom into a proper federated FOSS solution. They have a massive scaling problem and a single application on that protocol, which is a deep problem to fix, but at the end of the day it should ideally be equivalent to Mastodon. With that in mind, I want to see them succeed: I’d happily run my own node in the network.
@ClickyMcTicker yeah, mastodon is mostly used by computer geeks, bluesky is now being used by everyone.
Bluesky will join the list of legendary FOSSware like VLC.
David Scott Moyer@samedev @ClickyMcTicker I'm not a computer geek, and neither is most of my community on mastodon. I don't use bsky because: algorithm/corporate. I do bridge though, because I know people over there.
