i count fox news as propaganda operation, like may other rightwing outlets. if media intentionally and knowingly misleads their audience, it is propaganda operation.

@Pandora @augieray "Actor" is now accepted for all, because many women feel adding -ess to the end of words that already means "person doing this job" is pointless at best and reducing women's achievements at worst. Making jobs more gendered also leaves less room for non-binary people, and unisex words already exist ending in -er or -or (such as lawyer or tailor). One can say "add -ess to my job", but it can come across as "call me a woman, not a person" does. Hope this clears things up.

@unfmeghan @mycelialinn @Pandora FOX News may have intended to misgender her. I notice they use the term "actress" in other articles. On the other hand, I had no intention of misgendering her, because my understanding is that "actor" is now the preferred gender-neutral term for everyone who acts.
