For those who use #Obsidian, do you separate your #academic / professional notes from your more personal ones?

I'm seriously thinking of creating another vault for all my main areas of academic interest, separating them from my more personal ones... even if some of them do overlap!

@toran
I personally don't do this because
1. All knowledge is knowledge
2. Insights in my personal life are just as instrumental in informing my understanding of how the world works as insights from work.
3. The separation of personal/professional is a faulty binary; the feminist method involves deconstructing this binary and reworking how we think about and value/gatekeep knowledge as "academic" and "personal" is a big part of that.
@toran i was thinking something similar recently and your questions resonated a lot. thanks for asking and made me stumble upon @kavana's exceptional answer. think i am going to make some more folders as @klausblog suggested to keep everything together but loosely separated in a single valut. that's quite similar to what i am already doing on zotero now that i think of it!
