It is very funny that the two options for casually socializing with a person is "get coffee" or "go to a bar". It is like. You walk up to someone and are like "hello would you like to go ingest stimulants? or perhaps a mood-altering depressant"
People talk about "missing third places" and what they mean is the lack of socially normative ways to invite a friend to do psychadelics
@mcc mm
@onelson The original version of this post involved a comment about going to look at abstract art but thing is I'm not sure that's as much of an intense immersive experience for other people as it is for me
@mcc “me and some close friends do lowish dose shrooms and then walk in a park” is responsible for *several* of my best days ever, so this checks out
@mcc "yo, i got an eighth of mushrooms -- sharing is caring, you in?" ez

@mcc I keep meaning to go to the new japanese import arcade in chinatown and learn beatmania iidx

maybe I should start inviting people to do that with me, it sounds like a good alternative

@mcc or you could do the sweetest psychadelics, invite them for hot cocoa and macarons
