@laubblaeser yes but also "to put up" is another word for "provide accommodations" (as in, "Chris needed a place to stay so we put him up for a bit")
my best jokes have layers
@TechConnectify Bravo. You did it. You finally embodied low effort. You didn't convert to metric, you taunted cookie forces, and you passed a lot of the hard work onto another person.
I'm so proud of you. :3
@SvenGeier @jajcus they work in a vacuum by spewing non-vacuum out the back.
If you spew non-vacuum at a fan in a vacuum, it'll probably also work.
@TechConnectify You know, I had this question as well, but as I have always done when I do any electrical work, I looked up the electrical codes for hanging ceiling fans (in Ontario at least) and the requirement is for the electrical box to be secured on two sides at least, but I do think that most home installs involve just replacing the existing light figure which probably doesn't meet that requirement.
Oh...and a super weird thing about Netherlands (probably European) electrical figures...they don't have electrical boxes to screw to in the ceiling...you just mount directly to the ceiling or wall...so weird.
I find it interesting you point out ground effect, when you don't point out that they're designed to be mounted much closer to the ceiling than they actually are to the ground in the testing apparatus.
@TechConnectify aaaa AAAA <procesing processing processing> OOOver the rainbBOW!
Well done.
@TechConnectify two weeks ago I thought about buying a ceiling fan. Because cold floor and heated air on my ceiling doesn't warm me.
Yesterday you published that no effort video.
Love it. 👍🤗
. I’m going to watch it at night.
