@gruber Saw your Nextpad++ article.

I’ve used Notepad++ on Windows. It’s the most stereotypical Windows 3.1/95 MDI app you’ve ever seen. Works fine, 100% boring.

I hadn’t seen screenshots of Nextpad++ yet. The text rendering looks the same. But that toolbar is totally different.

Why would I want that? It’s not Mac, it’s not Notepad++. I don’t really get the point of the whole project. But if people want Notepad++ on Mac, that ain’t it.

@gamemakerstoolkit.com Is that why so many creators are suddenly showing up on camera when they never have before?
@atpfm Neo all the things: iMac? Some people prefer desktops, lots of businesses may like them for reception. And you can reuse the MacBook guts.

@hackaday ETA PRIME has a new video where he water cools a MacBook Neo.

Seems right on target for the site to me.

I Water Cooled the MacBook Neo and DOUBLED the FPS!

@atpfm Maybe you should make a “best of” member special for newer memberr, or those who want to relive old memories. I thinking:

Marco swats a fly, John explains his windows and/or tabs, Casey’s laptop get soaked, the iPad windshield incident, John drops the bomb about having already quit his job. All the surprise and shock from the other hosts in the discussions of each.

Sure the episodes are all available for free, but this makes it easier. Add nice editing, maybe retrospective commentary.

@caseyliss Im listening to the F1 segment on the latest ATP and I agree this year is a great time to pay attention.

I’ve thought I might like F1 but I didn’t want to pay for the service. Having access through Apple is great, I’ve already watched a couple of things. I was really surprised about Drive to Survive too, but that served as a fantastic introduction too.

If you don’t mind: which team/driver do you like? I’m mostly still just trying to get used to everybody.

@atpfm Its too bad it was in overtime because “Methadone YouTube” would have been a fantastic title.

@siracusa @atpfm Re: context collapse.

Maybe the people weren’t saying you had the Neo price wrong. They thought you meant MacBook Pro. The $1700 lines up.

They don’t know the Mac Pro _even exists_.

Wow! I got 10th in the world at #OllieSoars in #OlliesArcade!

@atpfm #AskATP Does the MacBook Neo now mean Apple will likely never allow the iPhone to plug into a monitor an be used like a computer the way you can with an iPad or Samsung Dex?

Not that we had seen movement in that direction.
