I am a dork, yes, and hopefully I’m not the only one who finds this interesting. And really in these times of loss, I guess I do wish someone with some power would do something apeshit like that. <Shrug>

Also, a serious for someone else: I saw some concern that if Harris runs again later, she can only get elected the once: iirc the actual limit is 10 years: which is half of a term you weren't directly elected to (such as by being VP or further down the chain, and then promoted, like Gerald Ford), plus two of your own. In practice, this is usually just two terms, but a 24 hour stint as president wouldn't *legally* hurt her future chances of candidacy for a second full term. (Idk about its impact on her chances *socially*, though. I don't specialize in sociology or polisci)
