"Americans would be gambling with the economy, the rule of law and international peace" by electing Trump, the newspaper said.

@DemocracyMattersALot I love presidential candidates & presidents, who are not a damn national & international security threat, betraying country & nation!

Which leaves VP Kamala Harris & Tim Walz as the only possible choice in this year's #Election2024. ✌

There's no such thing as bad publicity, said someone.

And Trump appears to have mastered it. Every time he says something stupid or outrageous, it's his picture that appears in the news media, not Harris or any of the anti-genocide candidates.
"The Economist" may support Harris, but it's Trump's picture, and not hers, that appears on their cover, where potential voters can see it. I suspect that Trump says outrageous things because he knows that, and is acutely aware of the subliminal impression that it will make on the minds of undecided voters.

And the Democratic Party concentrates a lot of its energy into attacking anti-genocide candidates, which is likely to harden the hearts of the anti-genocide crowd, because it will just confirm them in their view that the Democratic Party is more interested in continuing genocide than it is in defeating Trump.
