It's hard to maintain communication on every social media platform that exists, especially during a crisis.
Once upon a time Twitter was the quickest and, arguably, best way to disseminate updates quickly.
I'm sure they'll do a recap of this incident and take note of things to do differently in the future.

@internetarchive a number of months ago my Bitdefender antivirus program was reporting threats occasionally when I connected to archive.org. I would be happy to forward a copy of the report I have with the particular URLs that were involved, if needed. Anything to help you guys get back up!

You may already be aware of this issue, but I received an email today: "... IA has still not done the due diligence of rotating many of the API keys that were exposed in their gitlab secrets.

As demonstrated by this message, this includes a Zendesk token with perms to access 800K+ support tickets sent to [email protected] since 2018."

One more thing to put on the list....
