Looks like you still prefer X much more than Mastodon for your announcements.

It's hard to maintain communication on every social media platform that exists, especially during a crisis.
Once upon a time Twitter was the quickest and, arguably, best way to disseminate updates quickly.
I'm sure they'll do a recap of this incident and take note of things to do differently in the future.
