The PNG-to-FNT conversion tool I hacked seems to be working as intended! Now the real fun begins...
FYI, the font file was made by a script that takes a raster with characters in sequence and outputs the font file NeoBook uses, with all the magic numbers described here: http://cd.textfiles.com/ataricompendium/BOOK/HTML/APPENDC.HTM#cnt . Some values are still hardcoded, but I plan to make a few things easier for the potential user.
Now this looks *very* interesting 👀 . And I swear it is all text, no pictures in the background! What could we achieve with this?
Stay tuned!
If you ever were told you could not embed images in text files in NeoBook for DOS... Well, don't trust them.
