FACT: #SCotUS said that a sitting Potus' motives CAN'T EVEN BE QUESTIONED, and any accuser must build a case that the acts in question are "not" in fact part of his "official duties"... which is almost impossible to prove.
EITHER WAY, it would be IPSO FACTO, meaning you couldn't even do anything about it until AFTER he commits the crime.
And we've already seen his willingness to commit crimes.

So you have the Supreme Court ruling backwards. The Supreme Court ruling explicitly and emphatically talked about prosecuting Trump and other future ex-presidents. The Supreme Court was all for prosecuting Trump.
If the defendant wants to claim the official duties protection then they have to prove that the action was part of official duties, not the other way around.

No, I'm afraid it's *you* that has your facts backwards.
#SCotUS said the Potus's actions "can not be questioned". Period.
So EVEN IF you wish to prosecute the president, NO action can be taken WHILE they are president (b/c it might "interfere" with their duties), and there is NOTHING to stop them from committing an illegal act beforehand other than the (nonexistent) threat of Ipso Facto prosecution once he/she has left.
