‘Magnificent Warriors’ with Michelle Yeoh.
I haven’t seen it before, but it is apparently “Indiana Jones”-ish.

So far I’ll say this film has been extremely entertaining. Very fast paced and lots of fun weapon-based combat.
My kung-fu action film has somehow turned into the Battle Of Helm’s Deep.
I also feel they built a city/town for this film purely so they could blow it up in various ways.
Yeah, what a fun and odd film.
The ‘Indiana Jones’ comparisons are off. Michelle Yeoh wears a bunch of cool looking leather jackets, and has a great sequence fighting with a whip in inventive ways, but that’s it.
It’s more of a “resistance” movie with the characters fighting against an oppressive occupying Japanese army.
But the stunts and martial arts are great and fun in this. Michelle Yeoh is incredible, at times fighting off an entire army with ease. There are 4 other “magnificent warriors” too, and they are pretty entertaining.
So yeah, recommended for a good movie time (if you can find it).
