Infosec.exchange and infosec.space will be down for about 30 minutes starting in an hour for a hardware upgrade.
I forgot to post “the operation failed successfully”
@jerry i think you may have torn labrum - if things don't improve you should see professional and get dx

@jerry Please say more, maybe less ironically.
@jerry Just realized that I don't think I've seen you do a photoshoot of your server 😜
@jawnsy @jerry Vacation time to Hetzner @ Germany
@Laukidh are you still seeing that message?
@jerry oh sorry, no it’s fine now

@jerry sorry, didn’t mean to worry you, I had been scrolling and saw the error just before I scrolled down to your post, so I had to screenshot it.

“Server Failure” was a failed boost, the error for failed likes is clear.

@Laukidh all good - I’d rather it turn out to be nothing that let a problem go
@jerry just out of curiosity:
I understand you're hosting on German Hetzner DCs. Is there an additional cost associated for a Sunday hardware change? Our labor laws usually ensure workers will get some kind of benefit from working on Sundays, so does such a change on a Sunday incur more costs or is this transparent to you? Thanks!
@bieberium no - the datacenter is staffed 24x7, and hardware changes are apparently part of their normal duties. I pay a flat change fee regardless of when it happens. I assume that Hetzner compensates them based on their weekend work in accordance with labor laws
@jerry Ah, so as a customer it's transparent and Hetzner obviously plans enough staff even for such routine tasks. Thanks!
